ABOUT ME

I was born on September 15, 1994 in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up, I wasn't a great student and at 15, I dropped out of high school to work in construction. With some extra time on my hands and money from my job, I decided to join the Renzo Gracie Fight Academy and start training in mixed martial arts (MMA).

From then on, I started spending more time with Daisuke Yamaji at the Renzo Gracie Fight Academy and he became my head coach. I also started regularly attending a competition class taught by Eddie Cummings, a member of the Danaher Death Squad. After a successful career as a colored belt, particularly as a brown belt when I won major tournaments in the US circuit, I was promoted to black belt on January 4, 2017.

I currently teach and train at Kings Combat Williamsburg and Renzo Gracie Brooklyn, two of the premier schools in the area. In 2023, I plan to compete and do my best to bring home gold to Brooklyn. I am passionate about sharing my love for Jiu Jitsu with others, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow as a martial artist. If you're interested in following my journey, make sure to stay tuned for updates on my training and competitions.
